Who we are

The company behind Alsinah runs Alsinah, a live translation service for talks. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Listeners

Listeners do not create an account. The listener page stores your chosen language and text size on your own device. We keep standard server logs (IP address, time, page) for up to 30 days to keep the service secure. There are no analytics or advertising scripts on listener pages.

Audio and transcripts

We never store audio. During a session, speech is sent to our AI provider to be transcribed and translated; our provider does not use it to train its models.

Text transcripts are stored only when the session owner turns on “Save transcript”. The owner can delete a session and its transcripts at any time.

Venue accounts

For people who run sessions we store your name, email address, venue details and team members. Nothing is charged during early access; when paid plans start, payments will be handled by Paddle, our merchant of record, and we will never see your card details.

Early access form

If you sign up for early access we store what you entered in the form, plus the campaign that brought you to the site, to contact you about early access. Ask us and we will delete it.

Analytics

On marketing pages we may use privacy-friendly analytics without cookies to understand which pages are useful. Analytics never run on listener, display or recap pages.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at hello@alsinah.app.
